The police raided-a Maltese farm at Blacktown and found ia coining plant, and" about one thousand counterfeit shillings and florins buried on the Hum-.
1 The police seized three revolvers and arrested three, men.
During the search one constable was nearly poisoned by cyanide fumes, but ,a detective saved his life .'by knocking the bo fid© from his hands. The constable collapsed but later recovered.
