The de Valera Party candidates were heavily defeated at the Dublin .municipal elections, at which Lord Mayor Brync topped the poll, despite the de Valeraites ’strong opposition. DUBLIN, June 29. In the Council election result, the constitutional group secured twentytwo seats and the de Valeraites thirteen. Among those defeated were the Labourite, James Larkin, and his son, who stood as a Communist.
