The improvements of passenger carriages would also actively be pursued particularly in the direction cf removing longitudinal .scats, for second class cars, and substutiting chair seats. The increased activity would apply to Otahuhu and Addington, which. were two workshops at which tliis ; class of work was-done. :• ’!v: v .
