SUPERPHOSPHATE SUBSIDY . (Per Press Association —Copyright). WELLINGTON, June 28. Negotiations arc taking place between the manufacturers of superphosphate and the Government on the question of the renewal of the exising subsidy of 8s lid per ton on the superphosphate used and sold in certain mixtures. The subsidy expires on Saturday, and, pending the completion of the negotiations, it is believed that the Government will temporarily extend the subsidy till July 10th. ELDERLY MAX COLLAPSES. GISBORNE, June 29. While) lighting a fire at hi s home early this morning, Thomas Wall, aged 62. an employee of the Borough Council collapsed, and died within a few minutes. NATIVE COURT JUDGE.
