HUGENBERG OPPOSES PROPOSAL (United Press Association—3y Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, June 28. Dr Hugenberg’s National party has been disolved by an “amicable agreement between Herr Hitler and the Nationalist leaders,” by which agreement the Nationalist Deputies are to join the Nazi Parliamentary groups. Dr Hugenberg is opposed to this dissolution agreement, but lie was out-voted. He said he declined to sign his party’s death-warrant, and stated that he intends to retire from politics. Dr Hugenberg is Germany’s biggest newspaper owner, hut, owing to the strict Nazi censorship, he is'unable to put his own viewpoint before the public. The announcement of the dissolving of the Nationalists is signed by Herr Hitler and three of the Nationalist leaders, but not by Dr Hugenberg. He assures Nationalists . of protection from discrimination and insult. The Nationalists at present in prison are to be released.

A Linz (Austria) message says Herr Hitler has dismissed Herr Proksch, the Leader of the Austrian Nazis, because he left Austria with Berlin’s permission, and ordered leaflets to be dropped at Lir/i from an aeroplane. The Austrian railways, of which Proksch is an official, are also taking disciplinary action.

The Government is acting against the Protestant churches who . are not disposed to surrender to the Nazi German Christians, and has dissolved the Lippe Synod, and dismissed the Church Council. Ecclesiastical minorities are full of misgivings.
