' Alt the Tariff'Commission to-day, CL P. Fitzgerald, managing director of the New Zealand Co-operation Rennet Co., asked for dumping duties on imported bulk rennet and cheese colour, on the ground that firms -are selling on the New Zealand market below Home prices.
G. S Avern asked that saving British safe? be placed on tjie free list, or, if that were impossible, for a .five per cent, duty on the British article, and a. substantial duty on the foreign product. W. Thomson made a general Hateroent asking" for encouragement- to the motor and coach-building industry, and greate r preference for British, agricultural implements. —y : ft. W.
