Competition Society and charitable purposes. The principals will commence their study upon the arrival of the music in about three weeks’ time, while tlio chorus will begin practice a little Ihtbr. A committee was appointed to control the affairs of the Society during' the year. The chairman referred to trio opera “Merrie England,’’ produced last year, and said that the financial result had been better than anticipated.
