The audience is kept on edge every minute as the logical but utterly baffling plot unfolds—and then gets a final thrill in the surprise ending, i Ben Lyon, as Jimmy Hawley, a reporter, doesn’t profess to be a detective, but bis newspaper training has taught him enough “inside” stuff to enable him to trap a “killer,” who has escaped from the penitential y—and further unravel a string of mysterious happenings. •
