NEW CHIEF ENGINEER. WELLINGTON, June 22. Mr 11. H. Sterling, 'chairman ,)f the Government Railways Board, announces tlr t at its meeting to-day the board decided to appoint Mr G. 1 Bertinshaw chief engineer of railways, vice Mr Oasey, who was recently appointed assistant-general manager.
