Figures for the overseas trade of 'New Zealand for May 1933 show the exports valued £3,119,536 and imports £1,705,887. For the corresponding period last year the. figures were, exports £3,116,273 and imports £1,688,974. For the period of five months ended May 1933, exports ' wore £19,957,559 and imports £8,751,095. The balance in terms of New Zealand currency excluding specie £9,069, <52. For the same period in 1932 the figures were. Exports £19,573,409, imports. £9,298,940; The balance in terms of New Zealand currency excluding'specie, being £9,034,445. Values recorded for imports are current domestic values in the countries of- export plus ten per .centr
