Creditors agreed with the Assignee that it was a case of misfortune, and recommended bankrupt for immediate discharge. POLICE AND LIFE-SAVING.. WELLINGTON, June 22. A request '-that police constables should he trained in the art of life saving resuscitation, was made io the. Minister of Justice (Mr Cobbe), to-day, at Wellington, by a deputation representing the New Zealand Life Saving Society. The Minister expressed sympathy with the proposal, and suggested that representatives of the Society should interview the Commissioner of Police. NELSON HYDRO LOAN CARRIED. NELSON, June 22.
