INSULTS ACROSS FLOOR. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this day at 2.30 p.m ) LONDON, June 22. In the Commons, the debate on the Scottish secretary’s salary, in winch Scottish hunger marchers in Edinburgh were 'mentioned, culminated in an unex pected scene. White the vote was being taken, Mr Buchanan 1 hurled a taunt atthe front Opposition bench which Mr Noil Mac Lean resented. : The words “cur” and “liar” were interchanged. Mr Mac Lean, rising, rushed to strike Mr Buchanan, who rose, to meet him. Mr Mac Lean, however, intervened and pulled Mr Mac Lean back to his seat while a Conservative held Mr Buchanan thus preventing a fight on the floor of the House. The two Labourites continued to exchange angry taunts until the re-entry of flic Speaker ended the scene.
