MIDDLEWEIGHT PRO. BOUT. JAGGERS BEATS PRENDERCAST. (Per Press Association Copyright.) INVERCARGILL, June 21. A middleweight professional boxing contest "between Twist daggers (Wellington) (and Frank Prendei'gast (Invercargill) resulted in a win, <n points, for daggers. It was not a good match, a contrast in styles and differences in height and weight militating against a good display. Jaggei's took the ring at 10.8, and Prendergast at 10.3 V.
A special amateur bout between J. Mansfield (Wellington champion) and Bill Pascoe (Southland champion) resulted in a win for Mansfield on points after a thrilling bout, packed with •hard fighting.
