ROYAL SHOWS
RECOMMENDATION APPROVED. (Per Press Association Copyright,) WELLINGTON, July 22. The conference, of the Royal AgriculturaL Society approved the recommendation of the special sub-committee that five provincial districts be constituted, in each of which an organisation would be set up with the object of holding a royal show once every live years. The districts were defined as follows: : ■ ■ Auckland provincial district, not including Gisborne; West poast district of North Island Taranaki "and Manawatu; Eas t Coast districts of North Island, Gisborne, ’Hawkey Bay, • Wnirarapa Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson and West Coast o.f South Island ; Otago land Southland.
