TEN KILLED
POLICE ATTACKED WITH AXES. BY RUSSIAN WOODCUTTERS. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received this day at 2 p.m.)) WARSAW, June 21. Nine civilians and one policeman were killed, and six policemen wounded in riots * i’n the Bzeszow and Bopczyce districts. The police surprised illicit woodcutters, who attacked them with axes, killing one and -wounding six. The police opened fire, and kjillod three. They arrested several of the crowd attempting a rescue on their arrival at the nearest town, resulting in tile remainder of the casualties.
