SEVERE STORM
DAMAGE IN ENGLAND. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright), (Received June 20 at 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 19. A severe thunderstorm caused havoc in the Midlands. An unusually high percentage of casualties occurred. The storm killed two and injured one at Kipping Forost, and only lasted a few minutes. One man was terribly burned, his clothing being ripped off. A third death occurred at Woolwich, when, a tram at Wembley was struck by lightning, and was surrounded by flames the passengers receiving a shock. A jeweller’s whop was struck at Brixton, the tfhodk, being felt a hundred yards away. A , tea- shop at Peekham was struck, a glass roof falling in, and injuring customers. Orchards in Kent were ruined. Hailstones as big half-crowns piled to a height of eighteen ,%iclicp.
