*A HOMESICK TENNIS STAR. PARIS, June 16. A sensation lias been caused by the news that Shields, the American tennis star. who was to have played at Wimbledon, is o n his way to New York. The change of plans was so .sudden, snjy? the Daily Sketch, that Shields actually boarded the boat-train in evening dress, and without luggage. Homesickness is believed to be the reason for his sudden departure'.
