There was a very strenuous wrestling : contest to-night, when Jack Patterson, of America, drew with George AValker, New Zealand and Britisli Empire champion, at the end of eight rounds. Each man gained one fall, Patterson getting the first- with a press, after lifting his opponent' and dumping him heavily. AA'alker evened in the next round with a slam, following an aeroplane spin.
