THE ALL BLACKS
TOUR DESIRED BY UNIONS IN AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 9.45 a.m.) (SYDNEY, June 29. A step toward the invitation of an All Black team to Australia next seasun was taken by the management committee of the New South-Wales llugby Union, when it was decided to ask other States’ unions if they were ill favour of approaching New Zealand with the view to obtaining a visit from the best New Zealand side.
The “Telegraph” says that undoubtedly this move will be welcomed by the Queensland and Victoria management committee.
The stipulation for the “best New Zealand side” i s interesting in view ol Mr S. S. Dean’s suggestion that a Maori team be sent. New South Wales would rather have a full strength side.
