He did not report 'andwe/? dismissed. He alleged that the dismissal - was enforced in violation of his right,j as a. public servant. The defence denied dismissal, and said that Ponies voluntarily terminated his engagement and contended that if he wore dismissed, it was justifiable. justice Reed coked the amount of Barnes’ salary, , and counsel replied £3 8s Id per week, for himself, wife and two children.
