The Nelson Trotting Club’s meeting was held at Greymputli yesterday in fine weather, The track w«s in splendid order. The totalisator handled £5,997 compared with £1,977 when a one-day meeting was held at Nelson last- year, on April 21, which was an increase ol 1 £4,020. Additional results:— Intermediate Handicap, (harness), 3.3 class, ten furlongs.—l-2 Gunmetal 1, 2-1 Ruin 2, 3-3 Recess 3. Won by a length ; a neck. Time 2.52 2-5. Brightwater Handicap (harness), 5.1 class for two miles ; 14 furlongs.—4-4 Don Chenault 1, 1-1 Bronte 2, 3-3 Olson 3. Won by four lengths; eight lengths. Time 4.11. Tahuna. Handicap (harness), 2.59 class, ten furlongs.—2-1 Ruin 1, 4-4 Lilian Bond 2, 6-6 Fernbrook Lass 3. Won by half a length; two lengths. Time 2.52 2-5. Dash Handicap, (harness), 2.19 class, one mile.—2-3 Royal Parade 1, 4-2 Lora Leslie 2, 7-9 Linella 3. Won by a length, a length. Time 2.17.
