THREE INJURED
STACK OF FLOUR COLLAPSES AUCKLAND* June 13. Three men were injured when a number of bags of flour in the store of the Northern Roller Milling Company in Quay street fell from a stack near which they were working. . The three men—Burnet Anderson, married aged 29, F. Blackmore ; and D. Ellis—were thrown to the ground under a miniature avalanche of about 100 heavy bags. The men were working on one stack of flour in the’ store when another stack at right angles to it collapsed without warning. The fall of the bags was spread over a fairly wide area, but only three of the 10 men were close enough to the falling sacks to receive any injury. They were all partially' covered by the bags, but were quickly extricated by the other workmen. The injured men wore taken to the Auckland Hospital. Anderson was admitted sudoling from a fracture of a leg. Blnekmore, who received heacl injuries, and Elds, whose' side was injured, were both treated in the casualty ward and were able to proceed home.
