Congress has adopter! the G'lassSleagall hanking bill, providing fundamental changes in 'the national banking system, including insurance deposits bv all banks. Mr Steagall commenting said : ‘There won’t be any move hanking .failures. This measure will, divorce the banks from their security affiliate, and sanctions branch banking within the States whose local laws permit of such.” The Congress at ho approved the Industrial Recovery ••■Bill.
