The Awakei'i ' School was destroyed by fire early-this morning. When 'discovered 'by the headmaster, Mr- Osborne, the whole roof and ceiling, were in flames, which spread within.-;, an hour .and the. building '-was- completely burned. The ' building was recently enlarged. It comprised three classrooms and a teachers’ room.
