CHINESE CREW ARRIVE IN N.Z. AUCKLAND, June 13. Twenty-eight Chinese arrived by the Mamma, to-day, to man the steamer Waitomo, which has been sold to the East. They were in charge of Captain B. Schreiber,' who will command' the vessel. The sailing date is indefinite. DEATH OF SHIP’S ENGINEER. WELLINGTON, June 13. The death occurred at Sunday Island of Mr Blakelock, chief engineer of the steamer'Surrey, which is due at 'uckland from Liverpool, to-night. Blakelock had been in ill health for some time and was to be buried at sea. The news of his death was reported bv wireless to the New Zealand Shipping Company.
