EVERYBODY'S PICTURES. TO-NIGHT AND THURSDAY. “BROTHER ALFRED.” ‘•brother Alfred,” the new 8.1. P. film which Henry Edwards directed nt 1 Elstree, in tlie Mediterranean for its setting and some remarkable scenes were secured in a reproduction of a well-known restaurant in Monte, Carlo complete' with its cosmopolitan clientele. 1 Dining here amidst the glories oi i plush and chandeliers were some two hundred players of every nationality. French, Italian, Greek, Hungarian and even Chinese men and women were assembled round the little tables between which the. cabaret troupe danced caily. The babel o'* voices in a diversity of languages served to heighten the Continental atmosphere. One of the many amusing scenes in “Brother Alfred,” is enacted in this restaurant by Gene Germ'd, the star of the' fdin, when, in a state, of wild intoxication he 'punches a high-bo'.’li prince on the nose. It is on this situation that the subsequent adventures of Gene turn, but a happy ending is eventually reached.
