Mr Bishop, coal-owners’ secretary, announces a satisfactory agreement has been reached in regard to engine-drivers and mechanics employed in West Coast coalmines, operating immediately until January 31 next. The West Coast coalmines agreement of July 1932', is continuing to operate for the present.
