MILK BOARD
-' ROYAL COMMISSION REPORT (AusfMlian Press ’Association). SYDNEY, June 12. The Royal 'Commissioner (Mr Shancl,K.C)., whose inquiry into the operat-; ions of the Milk Board occupied several months has presented his report in which .he finds no: evidence substantiating any improper or corrupt practices.
There is no evidence of any undue influence having been used to have certain appointments made to the Board. On the contrary, lie states, that having regard to the great difficulties of controlling the milk supply of a . great city, the Commissioner is satisfied that every member of the Board endeavoured honestly and successfully to perform the duties imposed by the Milk Act.
