DAMAGES AWARDED
FOR TERMINATION OF SERVICES. (Australian Press Association)^' ' SYDNEY, June 12. Mr Justice Davidson awarded £7OOO compensation to Augustus Scott, former chairman’ of the Metropolitan Meat Industry Board, arising out of his. termination of services by the prerent New -South Wales Government. Mr Scott was a T"»ng Government, appointee. Similar actions have been .launched against the Government in respect of dismissal of other persons, who. held important posts under the Lang Administration.
