The possibility of a team from Australia or England touring, the Dominion next year \\«s mentioned by the chairman (Air Henderson), at the gencial meeting of the council of the New Zealand Lawn 'Tennis Association. '
Air Henderson said the question of inviting a. team from one of those countries, perhaps'- from both, Would come, up.- fisr consideration at the next faceting, of. the Assr/ciation’s management committee.
The Uanteihury Association has been approached regarding the holding of the next championships in Christ- 1 church. The date had not been considered, although the CantQrbmy Association was in favour of holding the meetimv at Christmas time.
The iJ.S.A. team’s visit to New Zealand resulted in a profit of £57 to the Association, and the New Zealand championship tournament also showed a profit. The committee, has invited Mr Rupert do la Bere to act as additional representative on the Tnternationa} Lawn Tennis Federation.
