THROWN FROM GIG

WOMAN KICKED BY HORSE,

HAMILTON, May 22,

Injuries to the face and head were suffered by Mrs Isobel Bowman, wife of Mr W. Bowman, of Whatawhata, when she was thrown from a gig in Alexandra Street, Hamilton, shortly before noon to-day.

The gig was being driven by Mr Bowman and the horse slipped and fell. Mrs Bowman was thrown from the gig and the horse struck her with its heels on the head and face. Mrs Bowman was removed to the Waikato Hospital.
