uneoivseioqs, and, caused the others to run for tHeip lives. •Fifty men were stretched in a line across - a 20-acre field to drive Teddy into ' a corner. As the line advanced slowly .toward him 'Teddy suddenly turned and nade towand it at. a , speed of about 35 mi’os an hour. The men—all but one—escaped their ungainly'but swift pursuer by vaulting over a fence Later Teddy’s victim was picked up unconscious, hut only slightly hurt, owing to his heavy clothing.
Time after time the 49 survivors tried to “rush” Teddy,; tiine after time he eluded them. Eventually they gave up in dispair—and, only a few moments after’ they dispersed, Teddy walked slowly into the desired corral!
