AUCKLAND, May. 23. The third trial of. Elspeth-, Kerr, nurse, aged 46, on, the charge of administering poison wa 8 to-day continued. The three charges are that on April 8, 10 and 16, 1932, she administered poison (veronal) to ,her eight year-old foster-daughter, Betty Kerr, with intent to injure her so as to cause life to be endangered. . .. *• :
Twenty, Crown witnesses , have now v . been heard. Their evidence is on similar lines to that at, the previous trials.
