MILK GRADING
INDICATION' BY MINISTER.
AUCKLAND, May 20
Reference was made by the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. C. E. Macmillan, in opening the Bay of Plenty Winter Show to-day, to the new regulations under the Dairy Industry Act relating to the manufacture and export of dairy produce which are to be gazetted shortly. The Minister indicated that the regulations would be on thg. following lines The establishment of milk grading with differential payments; restricting the transfer from one, factory to another during tlie manufacturing season; providing for persons grading milk to be certified; acceptance of delivery of milk for cheesemaking to be refused if delivered after 9 a.m. on the day of delivery,;, prescribing in detail the specifications foi butter boxes.
