ARAHURA STOCK SALE
Tlic usual fixture at yesterday's market brought forward an entry of 31 large cattle and\ 13 runners. There was a moderate attendance of butenes present and competition was an improvement on recent sales. - While no heavy, cattle were yarded prime liglit finished steer® made to 20s per hundred and plainer ,sorts 17s to 18s 6d. Heifer ?:beef (only a few forward) made to 17s ,-6d;’ per hundred. Runners were in demand a.nd made to £3 each. ’No sheep, were e ntered, * W;-Jeffries and C°. sold as follows.— For Percy Olson 2 ,runnel® at £3 each, 1 heifer ,at £3 12s 6d, 2 steel’s at £3 2s 6d, 2 at £2 17s 6d, 1 vealer at £1 ■15(5, T at 15s. For Robert Wilson 1 runner at £3, 1 heifer at £2 10s, 1 (;|try cow at £1 7s 6d. For Robert Har- ’ vey 3 runners at £1 18s 6d, 2 at £1 iy S) 2 at £1 Bs.
