At the meat marking inquiry, .Mr Han’oury Aggs, for the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, said that the New Zealand and Australian Agents’ Association opposed the marking pioposal as being .impracticable. One thousand carcases were dealt with hourly in some of the Australian plantfi. The marking would he slow work iand would increase labour costs.
