The Maharaja of Alwar has been req'uedocl to abdicate within two years, or to accept -a commission of inquiry to investigate the unrest in the native state of Alwar. He lias been given fdi'£s-erj|lilf hours to decide. Ho is appealing for the reasons for this action,
