GRAN CHACO WAR
INTERVENTION BY THE LEAGUE

GENEVA, May 20
The League Council resolved to create a Commission to investigate the Bolivia-Paraguay dispute locally, and has requested that hostilities cease immediately.
The: Paraguayan representative has accepted a resolution which indicated that the declaration, of war would be withdrawn.
Bolivian representative will reply in a few days.
