The route to be taken on the. flight wiM be from Lympne, via- Brindisi, Bagdad, Karachi, Calcutta, A-lor Star and Snurabaya to Wvndham. The machine has a toji speed of Ho miles an hour and a cruising speed of 142 mi'es. It can cany sufficient petrol to travel 1 Cf)o miles without re-fuell-ing lienee the long stages have been mapped out.
The C'ii'l is a low -wing monoplane and, fitted for ordinary use carries a pilot, two passengers and fuel for 550 miles without- trouble. The engine is rated at 150 horse-power, but actually develops much more.
