The names of the British atncguticn to the World Economic were announced in the .House o i Commons by Mr MacDonald as tollows: — Mr MacDonald, Mr Neville Chamberlain, Lord. Hailsham, Sir J.. Sinion, Mr J. M. ■ Thomas, Sir I*. Cunlilfe-Lister, Mr ,W. Runciman, Major Elliot.
Mr MacDonald added that, as Piesident of the Conference, he would be unable to attend the meetings of the United Kingdom delegation icgularly, and Mr Chamberlain would therefore act'as leader of th® delegation. The .extra cost of holding the conference in London, instead of Geneva, will be born by the ' British Government, Sir J. Simon stated to-day. For tliis purpose, £IB,SCO has been included in the Foreign Office v ote, while the. cost of adapting the new Geological Museum building ■ to''accommodate the conference was estimated at £7, SUU.
