SCIENTIST’S PROPOSAL

Ceylon may enter the market shortly a s a distributor, of Empire “wines.”
An Indian scientist lias asked for permission to experiment in the manufacture of wines distilled from liquors from toddy, a tree juice extensiyely drunk throughout India. The. Ceylon Government has replied asking for a full explanation of the scheme and the facilities required.
