At the wool sales 8487 bales were offered, including 6151 bales of New Zealand' wool,, and 7461 baits jwefle sold. . There . was a firm tone and active home, and Continental compettion;. Offerings were readily absorbed, prices moving in sellers’ favour. Finer growths are now 15 per cent above, last sales.
New Zealand lots sold as follows: Greasy cross-dreds —J. in G (top price 10d), average s|ct. Scoured Meririos=~ Mount Edward (19d), 18|d.
