LABOUR MEMBERS INDICTED

The “Sunday Express” report® Mr Salter, a member of thg House of Commons, having said at a temperance meeting at Glasgow: ‘‘We have seen Labour Members of Parliament in the House of Commons drinking night afte r night. We have seen .another group who go into the smoking room and “soak” all evening until they are stupid. ’We' have seen a 'Labour Cabinet Minister go into the Common® 1.n.-m, condition i n which he cow'd .liard-’.y stand.” It is recalled that Mr Saße r was censured by the House of Commons in .1926 for .stating tthat he .had seen many members drunk in the Commons.
