QUESTIONS ASKED BY CR. McGAVIN. - .
THREAT TO RESIGN HIS SEAT.
There was a “breeze” at the conclusion of the ordinary meeting of vne Hokitika Borough Council last e zoning, when several matters were raised by Cr. McGavin, one of the two new members at the Council table. Cr. McGavin’ . defended his arguments against practically the whole of the table, and more than once the Mayor (Mr G. A. Perry), rose to a point of order, when the debate and interjections became warm. .' :• ■ ’ •
