CYCLIST’S DEATH
CAR DRIVER DISQUALIFIED. YOUTH AGED EIGHTEEN. <Per Press Association'-' Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. A verdict that death was due to injuries received when he was knocked off his bicycle by a motor car on Ferry Road on Marli 11 was returned by the Coroner at the conclusion of the inquest into the death of Frank Leslie Walmer Moran. It appeared from the evidence that Moran was riding on the proper side of the road, and was near the tram line when his bicycle was struck by a car coming from behinld. The driver of the car was a yoptli aged 18. He was dealt with in the Children’s Court, on the charge of driving in a manner dangerous to the public. He was ordered to surrender his license for twa years, and was ordered to pay the costs of prosecution.
