WASHINGTON, April 25

The decision to open the International! Economic Conference on June 12th is interpreted as indicating the achievement of &ome .substantial progress in the conversations among the leaders of three nations. As a result of the understanding, it is expected that the organising committee of the World Conference, meeting in London on Saturday, will definitely fix that date. Sir John Simon, Chairman of the organising committee, to-day invited his colleagues on the committee through the Secretary-General of the League of Nations, to meet at London on the afternoon of the 29th of Apid.
