N.Z. POTATOES
EMBARGO BY AUSTRALIA.

SYDNEY, April 25
The “Sun’s” Canberra correspondent says:—The only question which has not been finalised in the Now ZcalandAustralian proposed trade agreement relates to potatoes. The Federal Government is unwilling unconditionally to remove the present embargo on New Zealand potatoes, but is willing to negotiate for the entry into Australia of potatoes from areas that are certified as free from disease.
