On Monday forenoon the usuaj fortnightly sale wa s held at the above yards and was remarkable for the svniA; attendance of buyer.- who no doitbt were attracted by other interests.
The yarding comprised 30 he d of cattle, 76. fat wethers, 4 fat ewes,' 21 fat lambs and 127 store* ewes. Competition was slow from the outs?t- nr4 prices in buyers’ favour. Best finished steers made to £6 ss, heifers to £4 15s, and cows to £5 17s 6d. Best wethers t ( > 12s 9d, owes to 9s 9d and lambs to 11s.
