WELLINGTON, April 25.
Ted Oxley of Pahiatua, outpointed Archie Hughes, of Auckland, winning the lightweight title of New Zealand in a' fifteen rounds bOut at the Town Hall last night. Oxlev showed more speed and he did most of the leading. Oxley had the advantage in the firs' ten (rounds'. Then Hughes showed superiority, but the challenger was again superior in the last two rounds.
