MOSCOW, April 24,
Air Strang visited , Thornton and MacDonald, who are sharing a well-lit. cell in the hospital quarters of the Nokolniki Prison.. Both arc in excellent'health, especially Thornton. They are obviously receiving preferential treatment.
The chief of the Aioscow prisons, explained that the Britishers probably will be given an engineering teaching task. An appeal was not mentioned. The Soviet law prevents another Embassy visit for ten days.
RUSSIAN PETROL CO. RAIDED.
BERLIN, April 24
The police 'here raided the headquarters of the German-Russian Petroleum Company, and arrested twenty employees. They are charged with Communist activities.
The Soviet previously raided this Company on April Ist,-when they arrested •thirteen <,f the employees. The police state that papers seized confirm their suspicions.
